中文摘要: 随着X波段双偏振雷达探测网的增多,与S波段双偏振雷达开展组网观测愈发具有必要性。利用北京地区2021年7月27日的一次强对流天气过程的观测资料,对X波段双偏振雷达组网观测值和S波段双偏振雷达观测值进行一致性定量分析,结果表明:两者观测的反射率因子(Z)一致性好,差分反射率(ZDR)差异集中在0dB值附近,Z≥30dBz时,差分相移率(KDP)差异显著。根据观测值差异特征,比较了探测参量直接融合和距离指数权重融合两种数据融合方式,通过分析偏振参量垂直剖面图发现,融合后可以相互弥补探测盲区,KDP通过距离指数权重融合的方式过渡更加自然。本文融合效果可供不同波段雷达融合组网提供参考。
Abstract:With the increasing number of X-band dual-polarization radar networks, making network observation of X-band dual-polarization radars and S-band dual-polarization radars has become more necessary. Based on the observation data of the severe convective weather in Beijing on 27 July 2021, the consistency of polarization parameters between the X-band radar network and S-band dual-polarization radar is quantitatively analyzed. The results indicate that Beijing X-band radar networks and S-band dual-polarization radar have a favorable consistency on reflectivity factor (Z), and the differences of differential reflectivity (ZDR) are concentrated near 0 dB, specific differential phase (KDP) has significant difference in the area where Z≥30 dBz. Based on the characteristics of the observed polarization parameter differences, two fusion mosaic methods of parameters are compared: one is direct fusion mosaic and the other is distance-weighted with an exponent. By analyzing vertical cross-section (VCS) of polarization parameters, we see that the blind area of radars could be made up for each other, and KDP can have a more natural transition through the fusion mosaic method distance-weighted with an exponent. The fusion effect could provide some references for different band radars needing fusion mosaic.
