    For the need of daily weather prediction and an urgent call for the definition of ambient field as the initial input of regional forecasting model,the problem of truncation error in T106 dataset stored and displayed in MICAPS is discussed and indeed has been solved.The image snapshot effects of the spectra model T106 of China were also quantitatively analyzed,the ECMWF model,the JAPAN model and the KWBC Model,as well as their levels of statistic errors.

    By analyzing the relationship between the air pollution index of TSP and meteorological condition over Changchun city, including nonlinear correlation,the statistical models for air pollution potential forecasting were developed These models were used based on some numerical weather prediction products such as T106 etc ,and the forecasting effect was satisfactory.

    Using the Gauss diffusive model and actual observed diffusive parameter, the atmospheric pollutant of several high elevation point sources in the industrial park of the northern Hangzhou contributed to the scenic zone of West Lake and time space distribution of its concentration was calculated.The study shows that the atmospheric pollutants such as SO2 which exhausted from high elevation point sources influenced on the air quality in the certain weather condition.Therefore,pollutants discharge should be controlled and reduced to improve the air quality of the West Lake.

    To investigate the process of the hailstorm on 17 May 2000,some hail samples are collected,photos of hail slices are taken,and the characters of the band pattern,spectra and inner structure of the hails are analysed.Along with synoptic chart,hailstorm echoes and rawinsonde observation,the weather condition and atmospheric stratification under which hailclound form are analysed and hailstrom echoes are investigated.

    Torrential rain on August the fifth 2001 in Shanghai is diagnosed.Results show that thermal and water vapor background in Shanghai have changed 24 hours before,a water vapor transportation center has also formed.The dynamic condition imposed 12 hour ago,a large positive vorticity center at the middle and low levels also moved above Shanghai and its nearby region,this made instability energy release and formed the torrential rain.Furthermore,large positive vorticity at the middle and low levels and large negative vorticity at the high level overlapped in such a narrow region is also a inducement of the torrential rain.

    Based on non conventional observation of ″0185″ torrential rainstorm,primary analysis is made.After synthetic analysis of automatic rain gauge′s every hour data,radar reflectivity factor and infrared cloud image,four primary results are found:1.Enter into sea process and south jet flow are helpful for depression′s development,2.Mass rainfall is mostly caused by cloud′s consolidation,3.Cloud field′s developing phase is also the phase of mass rainfall on the ground,4.It is haphazard that the most heavy rainfall appears in the urban area.
    7  Weather Pattern Analysis of Shanghai 0185 Torrential Rainstorm

    After detailed analysis of the weather pattern of torrential rainstorm in Shanghai on August the 5th 2001,it is pointed out that the main reason of ″0185″ tropical depression can maintain steadily in the strong subtropical high is its deep structure.And the break of subtropical high is the key inducement of pattern′s following evolvement.The western high′s north northwest stream at its north side flows into the tropical depression,which makes the strong convection among the tropical depression developing rapidly and continuously.Furthermore,the eastern high′s weakening is the main inducement of the ″0185″ tropical depression′s sudden eastward movement.

    Based on the weather pattern,combined with GMS 5 cloud image and WSR 88D radar data,primary analysis is given on the torrential rainstorm of Shanghai City during the night of August 5th 2001.It is found that MCS′ continuously updating and developing is the direct cause of severe rainstorm;helpful circulation leads to MCS′ formation and stabilization,special geographical condition of Shanghai,faced with water in three sides,provides MCS with plentiful water vapor.

    Some problems must be carefully dealt with in architecture for calculating wind load such as wind data correction and estimation of the maximum wind speed during R years. The wind data correction includes the correction of data observed by swinging plate anemometer, the wind speed variation with height in the surface layer, and the conversion of 2-miniute observed data into 10-miniute data. The maximum wind speed is estimated by the distribution function of extremum I .

    According to the actual data showed that grape′s weight,content of sugar mature coefficient (the rate of sugar and acid)have assumed extreme remarkable Logistic growing bend line with ≥15℃ accumulated tempreture of after blossom for four kinds of main plant breeds in Tulufan Basin,but extreme remarkable exponential function for content of acid with ≥15℃ accumulated tempreture of after blossom,so that the crucial period of different growing element or quality element were defined which provides scientific basis for scientific management measure or develop different uses of grape-picking period.
