    Abstract:
    The development of satellite remote sensing technique give more and more no real and no complete quasi continue research data.Comparing with other conventional observations,satellite data have higher horizontal precision and wider research area.It is more easily to control measure errors.The applications of satellite data to numerical model were analyzed,and some meaningful study results for the development of satellite data assilimation were presented.

    Abstract:
    The large scientific experiments for the process of the energy and water cycle are introduced. It is more and more clear that the study for the process of the energy and water cycle is the research focus on climatology henceforth. The arm of experiments is to further understand the physical process of the climatic changes e.g. The green house effect by simulation and analysis of the heat/water exchange among air land ocean. The experiments can be expected for solving the problem about the forecast floods and drought around East Asia.

    Abstract:
    Contrast analysis was undertaken in the period before and after the construction of Three North shelterbelts system,by using the long term observations over north China.The results show that the shelterbelts system is beneficial to the plant growing and living conditions improvement,but the sunshine duration is shorter and the diurnal range of temperature is smaller after the construction of the shelterbelts system,which has more or less disadvantages on the crop in spring.
    5  Analysis of the Reason of Speedily Weaken Typhoon Jelawat after Landed

    Abstract:
    The typhoon Jelawat landed at Xiangshan, Zhejiang and weakened speedily after landing. Its ratio of intensity attenuation was in large excess of the average and the affection on Hang Jia Hu region was not big. The main reason is that typhoon Jelawat was far away from ITCZ and couldn't gain energy. During its landing, the mainland high was very strong, the weather was drought, the atmosphere was dry. Due to its friction with the mountain terrain, the energy was given out. After it landed, the relative divergence of the upper layer 500hPa and the lower 850hPa was negative and the wind speed decreased. In addition, the effect of the landed typhoons on the 10th day or later on Jiaxing city is small according to the data of statistics. The results may serve as reference for prediction of landing typhoon.

    Abstract:
    The temporal variations of high temperature weather and muggy weather at Shijiazhuang city in summer show that in the 1990's the number of both weather reach to the summit again. Contrast Shijiazhuang with Chongqing,Wuhan and Nanjing cities,the hot and dry weather at Shijiazhuang is more serious than that of the three cities, but the muggy weather at Shijiazhuang is not up to the three cities. The different atmospheric circulation of the high temperature weather and the muggy weather is summarized.

    Abstract:
    Based on the analysis of high temperature processes from 1961 to 1999,the weather systems and the positional characters connected with high temperature are shown as the flowing:(1) there is a clear extensity and timeliness in the distribution of the high temperature weather in Fujian.(2) the subtropical high is the most important system for the high temperature weather.(3) the tropical systems including the typhoons also do good to the high temperature, the temperature will be much higher while the direction of the wind is north at the area outside of the tropical system, which is regarded as ″fohn effect″.(4) The temperature is connected with the topographty to a certain extent.

    Abstract:
    During May-June in 1998,the heavy rainfall experiment in south China was proceeded, the various observation data were obtained and seven strong precipitation processes were occurred.The precipitation characteristics was studied by using the 1h rainfall dataset. The results showed that spatial and temporal inhomogeneity is evident. The maximum 1h rainfall for each obsvervational station occurred in the evening very often.

    Abstract:
    By the synchronization observation data of the urban area and meteorological observation station(outskirts) in Shenyang,the changing law of temperature difference of daily maximum and minimum temperature and the correlation with meteorological factor were analyzed. The abnormal change of temperature difference between urban area and outskirts was shown. The regresson forecast equations of daily maximum and minimum temperature were given.The verification proved that it has a better predictive effect.

    Abstract:
    With stepwise regression analysis on the basis of the criterion from Prediction Error Sum of Squares (PRESS) and on the basis of the criterion from Residual Sum of Squares (RSS),the forecasting model of precipitation over Zhoushan in Rainy season (May to September) were studied.Moreover,the scheme of forecast ensemble by forecast results of two predictive method is proposed.Results show that effects of the prediction of this scheme are superior.

    According to the definition of Northeast cold vortex, its center longitude, Latitud, height and its radius at isobaric surface grid point height are recognized automatically with computer.Ascertain location,intensity and dimension of Northeast cold vortex are automatically determined.A method of recognizing automatically Northeast cold vortex in any shape is given.The Method is simple and reliable in operation,and has an ability of recognition and management to observation error.
