    According to simulation data and observed data,both physcial implication and selecting principles of three parameters in Eular equation are discuessed.The result shows that there is a relationship between these parameters and precision.It provides a reference for improving accuracy of area precipitation measurement from weather radar through variational method.

    The data of the field experiment in 1993 was used to study the characteristics of the sealand breeze circulation and the thermal inner boundary layer on the west coast of Liaodong peninsula.Some results of this work are given,including the emerging frequency of sealand breeze in every month,starting and ending hour of the sea breeze,distance of the sea breeze going inland,etc.,in the mean time,the height of the thermal inner boundary layer changing as a function of the distance away from the coast is discussed.

    The comparative diagnoses of thermodynamic parameters and dynamics show that obvious difference of dynamic and thermodynamic mechanics exists in the two severe convective storms developed in and to the northwest of subtropic high along the Changjiang River in East Anhui in the summer of 1996.It is found by conducting the Q vector analysis that the severe storms and heavy rain areas are in accordance with the convergence of Q vertor.The focus attention of short range (0-12 hours) prediction of the two kinds of severe storms is given.

    By using HURRAN analog method of forecasting typhoon tracks,combined with 500hPa synoptic situation,the prediction of typhoon tracks has been improved.Synoptical models,diagnotic analyses,cloud features of typhoon,and experiences of weatherman have been applied to the study of the expert system which can give quantitative and objective conclusion of forecasting the typhoon weather (high wind,heavy rain)in the south Fujian.The data needed by the system are easily available.The system takes only about ten minutes from collecting the data to outputing the results of prediction,which reduces the time expense greatly in making typhoon prediction.

    Seeding target is mainly stratocumulus in south of China.The simulation of the seeding using One deimension Time varing Cumulus Interactive Model is presented,and the qualitative verification on the effect of cummulus seeding is given through the examples of six seeding operations with plane in the northwest part of Hubei province in the summer of 1995.By studying the seeding mechanism of the cloud,the effective seeding technology,and comparing practical operation with no seeding simulation and with seeding simulation,some conclusions are drawm.
    6  The Statistical Analysis of Artificial Snow Augmentation Effect on Freeze Injury of the Winter Wheat

    Since 1978,artificial snow augmentation by aircraft silver iodide seeding to the winter stratiform clouds have been conducted continuously along Tianshan mountains in northern Xinjiang.The freeze injury comparison of the winter wheat was made between the 18 unseeded years and the 17 seeded years.The average annual freeze injury area has been decreased over 80% during seeded period.Tree main factors which includ wheat seeds improvement and wintertide temperature increase as well as artificial snow augmentation have been analysed.The obtained results suggest that cloud seeding is a primary factor.
    7  The Singular Spectrum Analysis for Global SSTA

    The global SSTA for past 136years(1856-1991)was studied with singular spectrum analysis,then a maximum entropy spectrum analysis for serveral principal components was conducted.The result shows that SSTA has serveral very evident periods of quasidecade and 26-6 years besides 81 years.The first fifteen principal components have a variance contribution of 78%.Eigenvector 1,2 stand for linear characteristic of SSAT,their variance contribution is 48%,and their resultant curve basically described average thenes during serveral years and serveral decades.Eigenvector 3 and afterwards eigenvectors stand for wave characteristics of SSTA.The first four principal components can better fit SSTA yearly change characters.

    The Analytical Hierarchy Process is applied to determine the priority degrees of exploiting climatic resources at Chaoyang city in Liaoning province.The social and economical benefit is choiced to establish hierarchic structures and to construct judgement matrix.The hierarhic single range and total range is aligned,then the priority degrees of exploiting agroclimatic resources is determined,It is helpful to the decision of agriculture production.

    Using experimental data observed in wheat and peanut field,the function of super water absorbent resin to cultivated crop in droughty conditions is analysed.The result shows that super water absorbent resin is a effective drought resistance resin,and it can keeps soil humidity and elevates utilization rate of rainfall.Its price is cheap,and it is easy to use in cultivated crop.If it can be extended into the all crops,the more effect can be available.

    By use of 31 years rice yield and meteorological data at Jining district in Shandong province,the relationship between meteorological factors with the year type and yield of rice production is analysed.The key period causing yield variability and principal meteorological factors and its varing rule are given,and the countermeasures responsed to unfavourable factors are suggested.

    The total Meiyu precipitation in Anhui province in 1996 is nearly identical with that in 1991.But the economic losses caused by flood and waterlogging is only half of 1991′s.The unstable torrential rain with characteristic of variable falling area during 1996 Meiyu season is the principal factor,and the concentrated torrential rain regions towards to the south and the less precipitatin on in earlier stage of Meiyu season are aslo important factors.By the contrast analysis on the circulation characteristics and the impact system between the stable torrential rain and the unstable torrential rain,the preliminary research way that can be used to estimate the damage situation in large Meiyu precipitation year is given.

    An analysis on upper cold vortex that caused heavy rain in North China from 30 June to 1 July 1995 is presented.The physics field features and cloud system development of cold vortex corresponding to precipitation are discussed.The results are referential for routine operational prediction.

    Three types of low vortex (Mongolia vortex,Northwest vortex and Southwest vortex)producing heavy rain at Huairou County in Beijing are analysed.The results show that there are same unstability and vapour condition in three low vortexs,but vertical motion condition are different.It is helpful to forecasting heavy rain.
