    Abstract:
Recent advances in diagnostic studies of energetics over the past several years are generalized on the following topics: (1) Budgets of divergent and rotational kinetic energy, particularly the significance and analyses of generation, transport, conversion and dissipation.,(2)Scale interaction equations of kinetic energy show that the exchanges between K and K' can only be accomplished through V·V' and the kinetic energy produced by interactions between wind and mass field in both scales and transformed into synoptic and mesoscale systems.

    曹鸿兴
    1995, 21(1):9-13. DOI: 10.7519/j.issn.1000-0526.1995.1.002

    Abstract:
Based on memory concept in irreversible process, the self-memorisation equation of atmosphere is discussed. With several approaches getting the memory function, the equation can become numerical,statistic-dynamic and multi-time models. Under conditions of taking account of time series only at one hand and considering the effects at the other as a random process, the selfmemory prediction model degenerates into mean generating function model the computational case is given.
3  The Relationship between the Development of Cloud Cluster of Heavy Rain and the Low-level Wind Field
    金秀兰
    1995, 21(1):14-18. DOI: 10.7519/j.issn.1000-0526.1995.01.003
    [Abstract](707) [HTML](0) [PDF 223.66 K](1237)
    Abstract:
Using satellite cloud pictures and data from the intensive and conventional observation, the characteristics of the cloud pictures and the physical quentity field are comprehensively diagnosed. Then trigger actions of the disturbance of low-level wind field for cloud cluster with heavy rain are discussed.
4  Genesis of Tropical Cyclone Atmospheric Circulation and Variations of Antarctic Sea Ice
    李曾中
    1995, 21(1):19-22. DOI: 10.7519/j.issn.1000-0526.1995.01.004
    [Abstract](602) [HTML](0) [PDF 143.24 K](1333)
    Abstract:
An analysis of the relationship between the genesis of the tropical cyclones over the western North Pacific and the interannual variation of the global atmospheric circulations as well as the northern edge of the Antarctic sea ice was made by using the grid wind data during 1973-1981,1980-1986 and the Antarctic sea ice data during 1973-1978 as well as the conventional data. The results show that over the region of the Eastern Hemisphere the annual frequency of the tropical cyclones of the two Hemisphers is connected closely with the intensity of the cross equatorial flow (Eastern Hemisphere), particularly with that at 40°E. At the same time, it is closely connected with the interannual variation of the northern edge of the Antarctic sea ice. When there is a "warmer winter" and a "colder summer" in the Antarctic, there will be a higher annual frequency of the tropical cyclone over the western North Pacific.
5  The System of Communication Network and Long-rangs Terminal in Jiangsu Province
周曾奎 陈必云 韩正国 何浦桥 冯民学 单云健
    1995, 21(1):23-27. DOI: 10.7519/j.issn.1000-0526.1995.1.005
    [Abstract](637) [HTML](0) [PDF 202.10 K](1230)
    Abstract:
The System of Communication Network in Jiangsu Province consists of three parts──the high speed distance terminals (9600bps),the regional users' share units and the distance working stations. The Whole system is making use of numerical and digital processing technique and GPMModem. Consequently the automatic and timing transmission of meteorological data and cloud maps has come true.
6  The Features of Atmospheric Pollution in the Eastern Part of Beijing
    郑庄川
    1995, 21(1):28-31. DOI: 10.7519/j.issn.1000-0526.1995.1.006
    [Abstract](711) [HTML](0) [PDF 122.73 K](1329)
    Abstract:
Utilizing the observed data of air pollution in the two periods (1976-1979 and 19891990), the surface wind, low-level wind shear and temperature inversion in the eastern part of Beijing is studied. It suggests that when surface wind is easterly wind,it is easy to form surface inversion, which makes the urban pollution become more serious.
7  Cloudiness Calculation and Characteristic Analysis over Yunnan with Polar Orbiting Meteorological Satellite Data
朱小祥 孟旭 方宗义 刘玉洁 李开华 谢光中 丁有济
    1995, 21(1):32-36. DOI: 10.7519/j.issn.1000-0526.1995.1.007
    [Abstract](679) [HTML](0) [PDF 181.43 K](1195)
    Abstract:
The cloudiness over Yunnan area, which is located from 99-104°E and 23. 5-28. 5°N,was calculated by the Infrared Threshold method with the corrected multi-channel AVHRR data of NOAA-10, 11 in one year period (from May in 1989 to APril in 1990), and the statistical cloudiness distribution was also analysed. The synoptic system and cloud system influence this area mainly, moreover, some cloud climatological characteristics were found. The results were examined by comparing with conventional observational results. Cloudiness over 21 points were obtained, which could be provided Yunnan Astronomical Observatory.
8  Verification of the Dekad Forecasts Issued by the Centeral Meteorological Observatory
    汪秀清
    1995, 21(1):37-39. DOI: 10.7519/j.issn.1000-0526.1995.01.008
    [Abstract](613) [HTML](0) [PDF 109.01 K](1309)
    Abstract:
The forecasting capacity of the deked temperature verified, tendency of dekad precipitation and dekad precipitation process in Jinn province issued by the Central Meteorological Observatory is verified. The results show that the accuracy of these forecasts are higher, and these forecasts have obvious guidance effects on dekad forecasts making in Jinn province.

    张学文 马力
    1995, 21(1):52-56. DOI: 10.7519/j.issn.1000-0526.1995.01.012
    [Abstract](761) [HTML](0) [PDF 210.83 K](1469)
    Abstract:
The theoretical framework of entropy meteorology consists of the following three parts. (1) The distribution function concept and many of its examples in meteorology; (2) The relationship between distribution function and entropy; (3) The illustration of various meteorologiucal distribution function by the maximum entropy principle. In entropy meteorology the rneteorogical distribution functions are divided into four kinds.Entropy may be used in four disciplines. (1) The depth, duration and area of rain process.(2) Statistical climatology. (3) Numeral weather forscasting. (4)Climate change.
