Abstract: In this study,a high-order high-pass implicit filter,with reflective boundary conditions,is introduced.The sharpness of the filter response with much lower orders allows high qualitive filtering at the lateral boundary.This makes it superior to the traditional tilters.A case is tested in this paper.Under proper choice of orders and parameters,the outstanding results show that the filter not only does separate scales efficiently,but also matches different element fields well.The filter is a useful tool in eveluating meteorological fields.
Abstract: The heating effect of urbanization is reflected by the contrast which changes year by year between urban surface air temperature and 850hPa temperature.According to the data analysis on Jinan Qingdao and Nanchang,the heating due to urbanization can be reflected by using this method.The heating tendency quotiety of urbanizatian of the three cities are 0.0294℃ /year,0.0220℃ /year and 0.0062 ℃ /year separately.
