  • 1  Comparison and analysis of explosive and unexplosive development of marine extratropical cyclones
    仪清菊 陈文玉 魏进武

    Abstract:
In the paper, a rapidly deepening marine cyclone is compared with a not rapidly deepening one, the results show that the features of explosive case are evidently different from unexplosive one.
2  On interannual variation of Mei-yu and typhoon and their relationship

    Abstract:
Based on the statistical analysis of the data of 37 years (1949-1985), it is shown that Mei-yu, rainfall in the middle and lower reaches of the Changjiang River is inversely related with typhoon frequencies in midsummer over the western Pacific and the South. China Sea. The Mei-yft rainfall and typhoon frequency are charecterized by the variation of about 15-year cycle and their phases are opposite. An appropriate interpretation for above-mentio case is also maed.
3  A study on optimum structure model of crop pattern

    Abstract:
The relations between the yields of crops and the meteorological conditions in Ankang Prefecture areas are studied by using mathematical statistics in this paper. The main meteorological factors that may affect yields of crops are identified by stepwise regression. Based on this, we have studied the adaptability of crops to climatic conditions and established the optimum structure model of crop pattern.
