    Abstract:
In this Paper, it is summarized that the research made in the recent years on the occurance and evolution of mcsoscale convective storm, and the clue to the forecast are given.
2  The relationship between Richardson Number and the curvature of wind profile
    刘树华 张霭琛
    1991, 17(5):10-13. DOI: 10.7519/j.issn.1000-0526.1991.5.002

    Abstract:
In this paper, values of Richardson Number (Ri) and the curvature of the wind profile(β) in the atmospheric near to the ground are calculated with the data obtained under three surface roughness conditions .The results show that the values of Ri and β appear scattering but agreeable over farmland, grassland and at the height to the middle of the tree within the forest-net, and the values are obviously smaller at the height twice of the tree within the forest-net as well as in the stable stratification
3  Remote sensing of atmospheric parameters over the oceans using the data from meteorological satellites
董超华 张文建 黎光清 张凤英 吴保锁 郑波 唐惠芳
    1991, 17(5):14-19. DOI: 10.7519/j.issn.1000-0526.1991.5.003
    [Abstract](824) [HTML](0) [PDF 588.57 K](1225)
    Abstract:
In this paper, the retrieval algorithm of atmospheric parameters (including cloud parameters) over the oceans using the data from meteorological satellites and its accuracies are discussed.
4  The studies on the persistent rainy and sunny weather processes in spring in the middle and lower reaches of the Changjiang River
    朱盛明
    1991, 17(5):20-28. DOI: 10.7519/j.issn.1000-0526.1991.5.004

    Abstract:
In this paper, here are the summary of the recent studies on the persistent rainy and sunny weather processes in spring over the middle and lower reaches of the Changjiang River in the last three years, and their application to the operational prediction.
