  • 1  A composite analysis of surface factors in advanced of hail shooting and the nowcasting of hail
    沈树勤 顾锋峰
    1988, 14(6):3-6. DOI: 10.7519/j.issn.1000-0526.1988.6.001

    Abstract:
In this paper, some surface factors are physically calculated hour by hour with the surface observations in the east areas of northern Jiangsu Province, and a composite analysis of surface factors is shown. Based on the features of the factors, a discriminant of hail nowcasting is given.
2  On satellite imagery features of sea fogs over the Yellow Sea
    郑新江
    1988, 14(6):7-9. DOI: 10.7519/j.issn.1000-0526.1988.6.002
    [Abstract](649) [HTML](0) [PDF 14.91 M](1108)
    Abstract:
Some features of the sea fogs over the Yellow Sea are presented by the satellite imagery from AVHRR on board NOAA-10. The formation and evolution of the sea fogs are studied with GMS imagery.
3  A numerical simulation of diurnal variation of surface winds in coastal regions
    卢莹
    1988, 14(6):10-15. DOI: 10.7519/j.issn.1000-0526.1988.06.003
    [Abstract](614) [HTML](0) [PDF 578.28 K](979)
    Abstract:
In this paper, a modified one-level mesoscale model with sigma-coordinate has been used to simulate the surface winds and diurnal variation in the coastal regions of China. The influence of complex-terrain and diabatic forcing on the local weather is discussed.
4  An approach to the wind profiles used in air pollution research
    胡倬 唐仁茂
    1988, 14(6):16-18. DOI: 10.7519/j.issn.1000-0526.1988.6.004
    [Abstract](552) [HTML](0) [PDF 278.55 K](976)
    Abstract:
With logarithm and power exponent formula, wind index (a) and complex roughness (Z0) in the hilly country, under the conditions of annual mean and various stability and wind s,cales, are calculated. Wind velocities at different altitudes. can be calculated with annual mean surface wind velocity and multi-measurements of wind speed at the height of funnel top. The formulas are useFul to the surface boundary layer.
5  A preliminary study of tropical cyclones over the Bay of Bengal
    王友恒 王素贤
    1988, 14(6):19-22. DOI: 10.7519/j.issn.1000-0526.1988.6.005
    [Abstract](628) [HTML](0) [PDF 459.62 K](887)
    Abstract:
The tropical cyclones over the Bay of Bengal in the last 14 years are briefly described here. The reasons causing the bimodal distributions of the tropical cyclones are made out. And the general circulation presenting during the non-tropical cyclone months and the multi-tropical cyclone months is also shown up.
