The space filtering is applied to separate forecasting field of 24h T₄₂ products. The rnesoscalefeatures appear clearly in disturbance field,which couldn't be found in initial forecasting field (T42products). This mesoscale features is good for the prediction of heavy rainfall events in Beijing.
