Abstract:
The analytical solutions of surface layer Monin-Obukhov stability parameter similarity equations are presented for the nondimensional profile functional forms put forward by Businger et al. For stable and unstable atmospheric conditions,exact analytical solutions of gradient Richardson number Ri are obtained. The proposed analytical solutions can replace the costly numerical iterative method, the least-square methods of estimated stability parameters, and the aerodynamic method for calculating surface turbulent fluxes. The sensible heat and latent heat fluxes were compared each other with the Bowen ratio and aerodynamic methods to be calculated.
