Abstract:Based on the weather situation,meterological elements,satellite image and rader echo, a squall weather process with high wind,tornado and hail occurred in Jiangxi on 28 April 2001 is analysed.The results show that is a typical squall weather event,and its trigger mechanism is caused by weak cold front, low-level jet,dew-point front and the topographic effect altogether.
