Abstract:The rainfall prediction system using neural unit method was introduced. Strong precipitation prediction in the flood season of 1999 in the Sanxia-region was given by the system.The results show that the system′s prediction was ability on strong precipitation process was andanalysed.The system has a certain prediction ability on rainfall process,and it is better especially for transferring synoptic process and strong precipitation process.
