Abstract:Based on the comparison and analyses of large flood in the Changjiang River valley in 10 years since 1951,the results of assessment of the rainfall in the Changjiang River valley in 1998 show that flood in 1998 is similar to that in 1954,the summer rainfall in the Changjiang River valley in 1998 similar to that in 1954,and more than other flood years.
