Abstract:Depending on the data of pole intensity design of long distance line prepared by the ministry of post and telecommunication,experience formula and method for estitnating maximum speed in the disaster area of lack meteorological observations are obtained and some examples are given. A new way to estimating maximum wind speed in disaster area is proposed.
