Abstract:The forecasting system of the medium--range heavy rain is a whole automatic process fromreceiving information to printing out results. The forecasting methods of the medium--range heavyrain include mainly the analogue forecast of circulation patterns,the case similarity of heaVy rainand the expert system of the medium-range forecast. The dynamic decision of the level--analysis isadopted to conduct the consensus forecast.
