Abstract:The theoretical framework of entropy meteorology consists of the following three parts. (1) The distribution function concept and many of its examples in meteorology; (2) The relationship between distribution function and entropy; (3) The illustration of various meteorologiucal distribution function by the maximum entropy principle.In entropy meteorology the rneteorogical distribution functions are divided into four kinds.Entropy may be used in four disciplines. (1) The depth,duration and area of rain process.(2) Statistical climatology. (3) Numeral weather forscasting. (4)Climate change.
