Abstract:Utilizing the observed data of air pollution in the two periods (1976-1979 and 19891990), the surface wind, low-level wind shear and temperature inversion in the eastern part of Beijing is studied. It suggests that when surface wind is easterly wind,it is easy to form surface inversion,which makes the urban pollution become more serious.
