Abstract:The application of MYTRONS to nowcasting and studies of torrential rain in the middle reaches of the Changjiang river is described. As MYTRONS was established,the forming knowledge and the forecasting ability of torrential rain were improved. Obvious social and economic benefits have been obtained.
