中文摘要: 本文利用1972年5月—1990年2月南半球月平均海平面气压5°×5°网格点资料,对南半球绕极低压和副热带高压系统的时空变化特征进行了分析,发现上述环流系统的变化与盛夏西北太平洋副高面积和脊线位置的变化有着密切的联系,这种遥相关联系为盛夏7、8月西北太平洋副高脊线位置的预报提供了一条新的线索。

Abstract:In this paper, based on the 5°×5° grid point data of the monthly sea level pressure in the southern hemisphere from May 1972 to February 1990, the characters of spatial-temporal variations for the circumpolar depression and subtropical high in the southern hemisphere are analysed. It is found that the change of the circulation system in southern hemisphere is close associated with the variation of the area and position of subtropical high over the Northwest Pacific in midsummer. The teleconnectional relation gives the clu& to forecasting the position of the subtropical high ridge line in July and August.
