中文摘要: 本文通过对S波段天气雷达的多普勒速度进行滤波,得到了因生物定向迁飞而产生的风径向速度偏差,可有效的区分出定向迁飞生物的跨海迁徙活动。结果表明:通过对雷达同距离多普勒速度进行低通滤波处理,可有效地将定向迁飞生物从浮游生物和大气湍流产生的晴空回波中分离,实现监测定向迁飞生物的跨海迁飞活动。为验证算法,通过对美国KICT雷达2012年9月30日夜间的一次生物迁徙过程进行验证,成功地仅依靠多普勒速度和反射率因子,将定向迁飞的鸟类从昆虫中分离。依照中国农业科学院植保所长岛有害生物防治野外科学观测实验站的人工观测结果,对渤海海峡2017年5月30日夜间存在粘虫迁飞的时间段的雷达数据分析表明,该方法可有效地识别、监测定向迁飞生物在渤海海峡上空的迁飞活动。
Abstract:Biological monitoring is a new application field of weather radar. In the absence of precipitation, sufficient weather radar observations can be used to serve agriculture. Biological migration monitoring usually relies on bipolar radar data, but the number of bipolar radar is small in China. In order to make full use of the existing radar data, we propose a method to identify organisms without relying on polarization data. Features by assuming the reasonable application of biological echo, we made two assumptions. First, biological directional activity leads to differences in velocity; second, organisms enhance the intensity of clear-sky echoes. By filtering the Doppler velocity of S-band weather radar, the wind radial velocity deviation caused by biological directional migration is obtained, which can effectively distinguish the cross-sea migration activities of directional migratory organisms.
